AWS EC2 & GitLab CI Optimization

Job ID: 39777615

Budget: $250 – $750 USD

Our production stack lives almost entirely on AWS EC2 and every release is pushed through GitLab CI. Lately we’ve noticed performance bottlenecks and sporadic deployment hiccups, so the immediate objective is to tune the infrastructure for faster response times and steadier releases.

Here is what I need from you:
• A rapid, hands-on audit of the current EC2 layout with a clear report of what’s slowing us down.
• Concrete configuration changes or new architecture suggestions that raise performance first, while keeping scalability and cost in mind.
• Direct fixes to the existing GitLab CI pipeline so deployments run reliably end-to-end.
• Clear, step-by-step documentation of everything you adjust or create.

You’ll be working at the command line, diagnosing live systems, and pushing tested improvements straight into the pipeline. Strong Linux administration, in-depth AWS know-how, and confident GitLab CI troubleshooting are essential. If you’ve sharpened clusters, autoscaling groups, or load balancers before and can articulate exactly how your work improved response times, I’d love to hear how you’ll approach this engagement.
