TASK BRIEF -
In this assessment task, you are required to research civil engineering projects that have been successfully implemented as well as projects that have failed.
Based on your research into these projects, you are required to write a learning narrative where you highlight the contributing factors that you have identified as the project to be successful and a failure.
Requirements:
Identify 5 different projects from your discipline. At least two successful and two unsuccessful projects.
Research the projects with a focus on identifying factors that contribute to project success or failure.
For each project:
Write a background on these projects describing what was involved (when, where, why, etc).
Explain how the project is relevant to your discipline.( civil engineering)
Identify the contributing factors to the project’s success/failure such as but not limited to time, costs, risks, communication, and resources.
The assessment should be no longer than 3 pages excluding the reference list and appendix.
