I need a Structural Engineer
Budget: $30 – $250 AUD
I need a structural Engineer to complete the following:
1) Supply a survey certificate upon completion of the building works.
2) Inspect & certify that an existing concrete slab and brick veneer wall is adequate to support a new single carport frame.
3) If welded connections are used between framing members, they are to be approved (as no welded connections have been used, certify that no welded connections were used).
4) All fixing and connections are in accordance with manufacturers recommendations
5) Certify the welded cranked 90 X90mm gal dipped & powder coated posts are structurally adequate.
6) Certify the carport as constructed is structurally adequate for its intended use.
A fixing channel is attached to the brick wall via dynabolts every 1000mm. The roof sheets slide into the fixing channel. The posts are fixed to the slab via gal. dipped steel base legs/plate fixed via galvanised dynabolts. The framing beams are 150X50X3mm and Purlins 100X50X3mm. The roof sheets are Bondor Shademaster Aluminium flat pan roofing panels 0.9mm thick (N3 wind Class). Gutter/Facia is Ultra colour bond. The roof is plumbed to the storm water connection point in the slab.
