floodplain analysis by civil engineer in Austin Texas
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I need calculations and letters to meet the following requirements from the permit reviewers for the city of Austin. Here are the comments we need to satisfy in order to get a permit to renovate a dwelling in East Austin, that is in the floodplain:
"(3) compensate for the floodplain volume displaced by the development; and Provide calculations from a civil engineer demonstrating that the proposed development does not decrease floodplain storage capacity on site. You may claim credit for the existing building to be demolished.
(4) result in no additional adverse flooding impact on other properties, as determined by the director. Provide a letter from Civil Engineer stating that the proposed development does not cause an adverse impact which increases water surface elevation on any other properties."
