I'm seeking a skilled engineer proficient in Revit and one-click LCA software for a sustainable engineering project. The task involves comparing the embodied carbon of two residential building scenarios in Cairo.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and analyze two 3-storey buildings with a 450 m² footprint: one using composite materials and the other with a more sustainable alternative.
- Assessing and comparing the carbon footprints of both models.
- Presenting findings through pie charts, carbon footprint tables and a critical discussion.
Ideal Skills and Experience:
- Extensive experience with Revit and one-click LCA software.
- Strong understanding of sustainable engineering and carbon footprint analysis.
- Proficiency in creating pie chart visualizations and comprehensive carbon footprint tables.
- Excellent ability to draft full structural models including slabs and columns.
- Strong analytical skills to evaluate and discuss the effectiveness of different material choices.
The project will require all structural elements to be included, from foundation to roof. Your analysis should focus on a comparison of overall emissions. The goal is to visualize the data, critically assess the findings and draw conclusions about the sustainability of the material choices.
