Structural Review of Wood Deck Plans

I need a Kansas-approved engineer expert review of my existing wood deck plans, primarily focusing on structural integrity. The review should cover the joists and beams, footings and supports, as well as fasteners and connectors. A keen eye for detail is necessary to ensure all components meet safety standards and can withstand expected loads.

Project is not active at this time yet, I’m looking to get someone lined up in advance so we can get this executed quickly upon client approval. So this isn’t a guaranteed job.

I will need plans stamped for submitting to city for permit.

I have drawings in Sketchup, and can share that file or export to flat drawings.

Ideal skills for this project include:
- Structural engineering expertise
- Experience with deck or similar outdoor structure design
- Familiarity with material properties and their appropriate use in construction

I need clear, concise feedback on the plans, as well as any potential issues that may need to be addressed.
