Structural Engineering Assessment for Carport
Budget: £20 – £250 GBP
I'm seeking a certified structural engineer to assess my carport design. The carport needs to support 6Qty 28kg PV panels and 5Qty 11kg PV panels, all secured to a scaffold pole structure held together with standard key-clamps. The structure will interface to Qty5 0.8m screw piles, screwed into undisturbed green sand. Urban environment.
Key Requirements:
- A certification report confirming that the structure's integrity is suitable to mount the PV system and allow MCS certification of the PV/support system.
- Analysis expected for load-bearing capacity, wind loading compliance, 20yr life
- Review of existing detailed plans of the carport structure + suggestions of what's required to make it compliant if it's not.
Ideal Skills and Experience:
- Capability to provide UK MCS certification report for this type of structure.
