Structural Engineer Needed for Small Lake & Trail Permit Drawings
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I’m looking for an experienced structural or civil engineer to prepare a permit-ready design package for a small recreational lake area that will be used mainly for hiking and picnicking.
The main focus is creating safe and natural-looking shoreline structures (trail decking, scenic overlooks, minor retaining or erosion control elements) that comply with local permitting requirements.
Scope includes:
✅ Scaled site layout showing lake footprint, trail loops, picnic areas, and signage
✅ Two scenic overlooks — include decking or railing details for safety and accessibility
✅ Erosion control and planting notes (natural shoreline stabilization)
✅ Basic grading and drainage details for review submission
✅ Coordination notes for county or state permitting requirements
Ideal candidate:
Licensed or experienced in civil/structural design for outdoor or park projects
Familiar with small recreation or landscape structures
Can deliver clean, professional CAD drawings (AutoCAD / Revit / Civil 3D)
Communicates clearly and works efficiently with light guidance
Budget: Fixed or hourly — open to reasonable offers under $30–$50, depending on experience and detail level.
Timeline: 1–2 weeks for initial draft set
