Structural Engineer Needed for Awning Design
Budget: $100 – $120 USD
I'm in need of a skilled structural engineer to design a structural awning based on the attached floor plan and elevation view. This design should include plans, a Structural Calculations sheet, and a foundation plan for under the columns.
Key Requirements:
- Design and implement a structural awning approximately 16' wide x 66' in length
- Use either HSS steel or galvanized steel for the entire structure
- Ensure the structure can support several ceiling fans, gas heaters, and light fixtures
The primary purpose of this awning is to provide shade. Please refer to the original PDF architectural plan for the locations of the columns. We can have four columns per architectural plan. The ideal freelancer for this project should be proficient in structural engineering and have prior experience in designing similar structures. They should also be able to provide detailed structural calculations and plans. Please note that the design needs to be robust enough to support additional weight from ceiling fixtures.
