Description:
We are seeking a local to SWFL licensed Florida Professional Engineer (structural or civil) to evaluate a residential fiberglass pool installation in Cape Coral, FL.

The project is under dispute due to defects including installation and safety and code compliance issues, including electrical bonding concerns and probable improper backfill/compaction.

Scope of Work:

On-site inspection of fiberglass pool and decking Evaluate structural integrity and code compliance Assess electrical bonding and safety concerns Conduct a soil compaction study of backfill material Measure compaction using the standard Proctor test Provide accurate, reliable data Determine potential causality for sunken pavers and skimmer cracking Provide a written report with findings, violations (if any), and recommended corrective actions

Requirements:

Active Florida PE license Experience with residential pools and soil compaction testing a plus Familiarity with Florida building codes and Proctor testing
