Soil erosion

Townhouse complex behind my property does not have a retaining wall. The trees on the property is not holding soil and water. I live in River Edge, NJ. Town doesn’t want to get involved. I sent letters to the townhouse management company and they do not respond. Need engineer to determine the situation and make recommendations. I already had to reinstall pavers around my shed because of the water coming from the townhouse property. I’m concerned water is compromising the foundation of the shed.
