Soil Compaction Certification with GA Stamp
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I need a geotechnical engineer who can visit a residential lot in Alpharetta, GA and run a full soil compaction test over an area of roughly 1,000–5,000 sq ft. The site sits on typical Georgia fill—no problematic clay seams or heavy rock layers have been noted—so standard field and lab procedures should be sufficient.
What matters most is that the final report carries your current Georgia PE stamp; my building permit set will not be cleared without it. I’m expecting in-place density tests (nuclear gauge or sand cone to ASTM standards), comparison to the Proctor curve, and a concise narrative confirming that compaction meets or exceeds the residential code requirements.
Deliverables
• On-site testing and data sheets
• Laboratory Proctor results (if a new curve is required)
• Signed and stamped compaction report in PDF
Please let me know your earliest field date, the equipment you prefer, and how quickly you can turn around the stamped report once the data are in.
