Small Scale Civil Engineering Design (local to Princeton NJ Only Please)
Budget: $750 – $1,500 USD
I am seeking the expert services of an experienced civil engineer to develop an effective site plan and manage drainage and stormwater for an area of less than one acre.
Thanks for your interest in our project. Please see the initial outline of potential services needed and attached concept sketches. I am out of town beginning tomorrow, but will be back the 12th of April if a site drop by and initial meeting might be of interest.
In the interim, please provide a fee schedule/estimate for your professional services for:
Scope of Work:
• Addition of 2 story extension to an existing garage converted to art studio and workshop space.
• Located at single family residential property on Route 518 in the village of Blawenburg, NJ
Scope of Services:
• Civil Engineering and Survey Services to include any of the following:
○ Survey
§ Re-shoot at a minimum:
□ Nearest Property monuments to the design.
□ Current topography in relevant area of the design
□ Provide survey area in autocad Civil3D with state plane coordinate system.
○ Grading and Drainage Design
§ Civil3D/Autocad file of proposed topo.
§ Stormwater Mitigation Recommendations.
○ Possible Soil Report/Borings, depending on research for the area and/or structural engineer input.
We are trying to resolve a challenge of regrading needed to make the addition meet code for overall exposed wall relative to roof height. We need your creativity to decide on any degree swales or retainage might be required.
Key Job Requirements:
- Proficiency in Civil 3D for project execution
- Experience in site development and grading, enhancing functionality, and aesthetic appeal
- Knowledge in modern and effective drainage and stormwater management systems
- A track record of successful similar projects
