Residential Wetland & Stormwater Plan
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
This job covers two tightly linked tasks for a new residential build: (1) a site-specific wetland plan that documents existing resources and required buffers, and (2) a stormwater management plan that centres on a series of rain gardens as the primary Best Management Practice.
Scope of work
• Map and classify all on-site wetlands, note jurisdictional limits, and show proposed disturbance and avoidance areas in CAD/GIS format.
• Calculate pre- and post-development hydrology, size the rain gardens accordingly, and demonstrate compliance with local peak-flow, volume-control and water-quality criteria.
• Produce plan sheets, grading details, planting schedules, and an engineer’s narrative ready for preliminary agency review.
• Supply editable files (PDF + DWG or equivalent) together with supporting hydro-calc spreadsheets.
Acceptance criteria
Plans must meet residential subdivision standards in my jurisdiction, use rain gardens as the main treatment train, and be stamped or accompanied by credentials sufficient for permit submission.
