Residential Structural Engineering for SF Home
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I'm seeking a skilled structural engineer to assist with the design phase of a single-family home. The project is currently in the design phase and requires expert input to ensure structural integrity and compliance with local building codes.
Ideal Skills and Experience:
- Licensed professional engineer (PE)
- Experience with residential structures, particularly single-family homes
- Strong knowledge of local building codes and regulations
- Proficiency in structural design software
- Excellent communication skills for coordination with architects and contractors
Please provide examples of similar work and relevant qualifications.
I plan to acquire a large aquarium for my home and need to reinforce the floor appropriately. The aquarium footprint will be 10'x4' and ~750 gallons. Total wieght after filled, including stand is ~10,000 lbs. The aquarium be in a room with a crawlspace below it.
Additional info and/or pictures can be provided. I am looking for someone who can provide plans for me that i can hand off to a contractor for the work.
