Residential Structural Assessment

Job ID: 34833090

Budget: $750 – $1,500 USD

My family is in litigation with the seller of our home. They failed to disclose any foundation/sewer/water issues on the Ohio Residential Disclosure Form. We have witnesses to the fact that the basement was in terrible condition during the time the house was listed and purchased by the seller. We also uncovered a major water intrusion and improper sewage system that had a downspout terminating against the foundation and causing “substantial water and foundation damage”. It would seem their word vs our witnesses, except we also have evidence that they presented an electrical invoice as proof of remedying a contingency that is fraudulent. The electrician does not exist and the work they supposedly “performed” not only did not ameliorate the contingency, but was in direct violation of NEC Code. Needless to say, their credibility is called into question to say the least.

Bottom line, we need a certified professional foundational assessment of our property that may shed further light on the issues at hand. After we’ve moved in, there have been steadily increasing cracks and fissures that have appeared throughout the home. I’ve attached several pictures for your perusal.

Do these pictures cause concern in your professional eyes as to if we need to verify the safety of our home?
