Residential OSD Tank DRAINS Model
Budget: $50 – $100 AUD
I have a residential lot that needs an On-Site Stormwater Detention (OSD) design, and I specifically want the hydraulics and hydrology run in DRAINS by Watercom. The aim is to size a detention tank somewhere in the 10,000 – 50,000 L range and demonstrate compliance with local council criteria.
What I will hand over:
• CAD/PDF of the proposed site plan with spot levels
• Council design parameters
What I need back from you:
• The native .drn file set up in DRAINS, showing catchment sub-areas, pit/inlet data and the detention tank node
• A concise calculation report or output summary that clearly states the recommended tank volume, outlet configuration and resulting discharge hydrograph
• Any supporting assumptions so council can audit the model
Acceptance criteria
• Model runs without errors in the current DRAINS version
• Peak discharge and storage volume reported for critical storms match council limits
• All custom rating curves or storage-discharge tables included in the submission folder
