Residential Building Structural Evaluation

I'm looking for a structural engineer to evaluate a residential building. The evaluation should focus on the roof structure, existing columns, and new columns planned for construction. The existing columns are embedded within the slab, so extending new columns from these existing columns needs to be evaluated. Please suggest the best approach for this extension
