Preform SAP calculations for a new house in UK
Budget: £20 – £250 GBP
I am looking for someone to perform SAP calculations for my new house in the UK. The house is just over 100 sqm imprint (2 stories) and is located in a rural area. I have specific requirements for high energy efficiency and would like someone with experience in this area. Ideal skills for the job include knowledge of SAP calculations, experience working with energy-efficient building materials, and familiarity with UK building regulations.
The successful assessor will be provided with the following:
Floorplans of the build
A full site plan of the development
Elevation drawings
Sectional drawings
Details of the insulation type that will be used.
Details of the u-value of openings such as windows and doors
Details of which heating systems are being used
Details of any ventilation systems that will be installed
Details of any renewable technologies being used
All of these factors are to be assessed and entered into a ‘Calculation Software Programme that will use this information to provide an accurate energy assessment rating for the proposed dwelling.
When completed, the calculations provided will satisfy the following Northern Ireland Building Control requirement -
Provide calculations to show that the design carbon emission rate (DER) of a proposed dwelling achieves a betterment of 40% or more than the Target carbon emission rate (TER). Ensure that SAP calculations correspond in all details re: heating controls, calculations, etc.
