Permit-Ready Driveway Expansion Plans
Budget: $1,500 – $3,000 USD
I’m expanding my residential driveway in Shoreline, Washington and need a licensed civil engineer to produce permit-ready drawings for the City. The goal is to increase driveway capacity, replacing the existing surface with concrete while integrating effective drainage solutions and a short retaining wall where grade changes demand it.
This extension requires building a few retaining walls on a steep slope.
I have GeoTech, Arborist and topographical survey done already.
You will gather any required site data, translate it into a full set of stamped civil plans, and prepare all calculations and notes the City of Shoreline typically requests for a driveway remodel. Expect coordination with their current codes for storm-water management, erosion control, and right-of-way requirements.
Deliverables
• Site plan showing existing and proposed conditions
• Grading, drainage, and retaining wall details with calculations
• Concrete driveway cross-sections and notes meeting local standards
• Permit submittal package in PDF plus native CAD
I’ll handle permit fees and submission once I have your sealed set. Let me know your timeline and any site info you need to get started.
