PLAXIS 2D Bridge Modelling
Budget: $30 – $250 NZD
I need a PLAXIS 2D specialist to create a basic model of a bridge that includes both abutments and piers, then run a first-pass geotechnical analysis.
Scope
• Build the geometry and mesh in PLAXIS 2D for the abutments, piers, and surrounding soil strata.
• Assign representative soil and structural material parameters (I will supply any missing values).
• Apply appropriate boundary conditions, construction stages, and service loads for a straightforward static analysis.
• Deliver the PLAXIS 2D project file (.p2d) and a short summary (PDF or Word) highlighting: total and differential settlements, bending moments in the piers, and any stability issues flagged by the software.
Please keep the workflow lean—no extended optimisation or 3D work is required at this stage. A clear, well-commented model and concise results summary are the key deliverables.
