Need licensed structural or civil engineer. No work needed. Just written report.
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
Hi! I am a resident of Mission Verde Condominiums at 6171 Rancho Mission Rd. I just recently completed some work on my patio that includes laying a turf down on the patio concrete slab. This was done by applying turf tape to the concrete and rolling out the turf to fit the area of the patio. Unfortunately, I am getting some complaints from the HOA. After calling the HOA and speaking with one of the associates there, he had mentioned that the concerns with the floor covering is that moisture could potentially be trapped and cause damage to the wood underneath the patio flooring. However, he said this is only a concern for second and third floors since the first floor is just the concrete slab. So he said "technically" this should have no issue but to help my case to the rest of HOA board members, he highly recommends me to contact a licensed engineer ASAP and to get an official approval in writing that the turf carpet that I have laid down will not cause any structural damage to the building. So I love to get your opinion on the matter and have the patio and the work inspected and evaluated. Do you have any availability to swing by to assess our patio regarding this? Thanks so much in advance! -Ryan
