Microcatheter Structural Deformation Analysis

I'm in need of a simulation expert who can conduct a thorough structural mechanics simulation for a microcatheter based stent delivery system. The primary focus of this project is to study how the microcatheter deforms under various conditions, with a particular emphasis on bending stress. The project will also study the stress and deformation of the stent delivery wire that goes inside the microcatheter.
Key tasks include:
- Performing a detailed deformation study.
- Identifying possible points of concern under bending stress.
Ideal candidates should have:
- Extensive experience in structural mechanics simulation.
- Strong understanding of microcatheter design and functionality.
- Excellent problem-solving skills to identify potential issues and recommend solutions.
Preferred simulation software is ANSYS.
