Low impact development plan los angeles

As an experienced professional, I am offering to create a Low Impact Development (LID) plan for residential areas in Los Angeles. The purpose of this plan would be to reduce stormwater runoff and improve upon the existing local environment. To accomplish this, my project will focus on green infrastructure and sustainable, low-impact practices such as green roofs, rain gardens, and permeable pavements. Retention or planter boxes are also preferred methods which I will use for this project. My plan would benefit Los Angeles by reducing stormwater runoff, preventing flooding, and improving the quality of air and water. Additionally, green roof installation generally increases insulation that saves on energy costs and play a major role in reducing urban heat island effect. Therefore, it is a win-win situation which can provide both ecological benefits and economic benefits for the city of Los Angeles.
