Loft engineering, load calculations and Oregon Engineering Stamp
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
This is a limited construction/civil engineering project. I need to engineer lofts over rooms on the mezzanine floor of a house. I need the locations, direction, length and sizes of the trusses with load calculations for each span and other load calculations as required. I also need wall diagrams that show wall connections. I need access plans, for the lofts, and stamped architectural plans adhering to requirements for Clackamas County Oregon.
The mezzanine is rated for 50lbs/sqft. There are bedrooms and other living spaces on the mezzanine. Above the mezzanine I want to engineer the lofts over some of the rooms. There are two lofts:
First loft – Is fully enclosed. It houses an air handler (140-190 lbs). It is 200 sqft over the Laundry room and bathroom.
Second loft – Is exposed on 1 side. It is over 2 bedrooms and is for light storage (510 sqft).
Plans must adhere to the 50lbs/sqft limitation of the mezzanine. Plans must include everything necessary and in the correct format for approval of the lofts by Clackamas County Oregon building department.
