Load Bearing Wall Analysis

I want to get rid of a wall I suspect is load bearing (as well as a non-load bearing one) - the one with the closet door in it in the pictures. It is 8' with two 2x4 as the beam. The corner post is heavily fortified. I need advisement and then someone to actually do the work, if the cost is OK. The solution can't blow up my remodel budget. If I ha e to keep the corner post I can remodel around it, but I'd rather not have it there at all. The wall on far left of the larger picture is by the stairs and is definitely load bearing running parallel to the wall in question.
