I'm looking for a professional with extensive experience in estimating large-scale and medium-scale demolition and hazardous material (hazmat) removal jobs in industrial sites across Australia.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and provide cost estimates for the demolition and hazmat removal of industrial sites containing hazardous materials such as asbestos and lead paint.
- Ensure all plans and estimates comply with state and federal regulations and the demolition standard AS2601.
- Adhere to the EPA Australia guidelines throughout the project estimation process.
The ideal candidate will have:
- In-depth knowledge of the demolition process and hazmat removal.
- Familiarity with the specific hazards present in industrial sites.
- conduct accurate material take-offs based off plans and drawings
- Excellent understanding of applicable regulations and standards.
