Illinois Stamped Water Flow Diagram and Drainage Plan
Budget: $1,500 – $3,000 USD
I need a civil engineer who holds an active Illinois Civil PE license to prepare and seal a complete water-flow diagram and drainage plan for an 0.2 acre outdoor storage in Bloomington, Illinois. The submittal has to meet every municipal requirement set by the City of Bloomington, federal and state storm water requirements, so please be fully conversant with their storm-water ordinance and plan-set formatting rules.
Scope of work
• Base the design on the existing topographic survey (current elevations and landmarks in csv).
• Model and display runoff paths for the 100-year design storm across the entire site, making it clear where water collects, how it moves, and where it ultimately discharges.
• For the size property a variance request argument should be produced.
• Size and label any proposed structures—catch basins, pipes, detention or retention features—so the city can confirm capacity at a glance. Coordinate information and design proposal through chat on Freelancer App.
• Include supporting calculations and a brief narrative that ties the numbers back to Bloomington’s criteria.
Deliverables
1. Signed and sealed PDF plan set ready for municipal submission. Digital is acceptable.
2. Matching CAD files (DWG or similar) with all layers intact.
3. Calculation package and storm-event map in editable format.
I’m open to your professional input on optional storm-water management measures and variances beyond the 100-year flow illustration if you believe they will ease approval.
Please confirm your Illinois stamp status or your ability to have pier review and stamped plans. This must be compliant and stamped for approval by AHJ.
WHEN YOU RESPOND:
1. Please outline the software you will use.
2. List your guaranteed delivery date.
3. List your guaranteed price for deliverables.
WE WILL PROVIDE:
1. CSV file with topography legend from survey
2. Municipal Engineering Checklist with requirements. (not all apply) This is a must read and determine what applies to this portion of project.
3. 60% Payment for deliverables with stamp
4. Final payment when AHJ accepts deliverables
NO request for completion over 14 days will be considered.
This is a legal document and must be completed appropriately.
