Have a civil engineer examine land I want to buy to see my building options
Budget: $3,000 – $5,000 USD
I am looking to buy a 15 acre piece of residential land. I would likely build a community of houses on it. The land is zoned for 2 acre lots. I spoke with the building department to get more information about the land and they said the following:
“The information requested cannot be answered at this time by the Building department. I suggest you hire a land use attorney and a Civil Engineer and Architect to examine the site to answer your questions. The Zoning Code is available on the Town of New Castle website Chapter 60. You are in the R-2A district with a 150 ft Wetlands buffer.
You will be able to request a Planning Board pre application meeting when you have assembled your documentation. All onsite wastewater treatment systems are regulated by the County.”
As the building department stated above. I need a civil engineer to examine the land and tell me my building options. I would like to build the max number of houses possible.
