We are seeking a certified solar designer with extensive experience in multi-family projects. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive knowledge in solar design and related areas to effectively collaborate with various trades, including:
1. Structural Requirements/Roof Attachment: Proficiency in assessing structural needs for roof attachment of solar panels.
2. Space Allocation: Ability to identify alternative areas on the property for panel installation if roof space is insufficient.
3. Electrical Requirements: Understanding of electrical specifications relevant to solar installations.
4. Financial Modeling: Competence in developing financial models related to solar projects.
5. Utility Connections: Experience in coordinating with utility companies for seamless integration of solar systems.
6. Coordination with Other Trades: Effective communication and coordination with other trades involved in the project.
Experience with the specifications of "solar-ready" multi-family buildings is highly desirable.
