Engineered pedestrian & UTV bridge for small farm
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
30-foot span by an 8-foot-wide bridge - no supports between spans. The bridge is primarily used for pedestrians (up to 30 people for a wedding) and should safely support a UTV (3,000 lbs) - all with a 50% safety factor. This is for a warm climate with no snow load. Construction can be wood (number 2 treated southern pine dimensional lumber is available in my area), steel trusses, or structural steel. Construction simplicity and *low material cost* are primary factors. Stick welding is available if steel is used.
All details, materials, and dimensions required for construction must be included. All engineering and cost calculations must be included.
Pictures with the approximate location of the bridge are attached (in yellow).
