PE Engineer Needed for Basement Review
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I am finishing an existing daylight basement and I need a licensed PE engineer in Washington State to review the plans. The review should primarily focus on:
- Structural integrity: Ensuring the plans can support the intended loads.
- Compliance with state regulations: Verifying that the plans meet all necessary state standards.
I have the original drawings and engineering calculations that were initially done for the house, and I do not require assistance with verifying the accuracy of these calculations. The engineer will need to ensure that the plans comply with local building codes.
Ideal candidates for this project will have extensive experience in structural engineering, in particular with residential properties in Washington State. A deep understanding of local building codes is essential, as is the ability to assess plans for structural integrity. The engineer must hold a current PE license in Washington State.
