Design builder simulation for residential villa (Energy consumption, CO2 Emissions, Cooling Loads)

The study model is a modern two-floor residential single-family villa plan which is composed of a ground and first floors as shown in figures 20 and 21 respectively with a built-up area of 240 meters square.
The simulation will be conducting by keeping the walls and the floors constant and changing the roof variables until producing the most optimum design which will be reviewed by checking the most reduction in cooling loads, energy consumption, and carbon emissions for each design guideline in Cairo, North Coast and Aswan (All in Egypt). Simulation must be conducted using DesignBuilder software program.

The roof variables are split right into 3 variables and each variable is split into sub-variables, as shown below:
• Different construction materials. And its sub variables: (Green roof, concrete cement roof, metal roof)
• Roof color. And its sub variables: (Reflective white surface)
• Roof form. And its sub variables: (30 degrees inclined roof, 60 degrees inclined, Flat roof)
