Design of Water Supply and Sewerage Networks for a new small town

We are looking for a qualified civil/environmental engineer or design firm to prepare the complete design package for the water supply, sewerage, and stormwater drainage networks of a residential housing development.

The design must comply with applicable local standards, HIB (Housing & Infrastructure Board - Libya) guidelines, and relevant ASTM/British Standards.



Scope of Work:
• Design of water supply network, including mains, distribution lines, and house connection details.
• Design of sewer network (collection system, manholes, and house connections).
• Design of stormwater drainage network (surface runoff collection and discharge).
• Hydraulic calculations and pipe sizing.
• Preparation of plan and profile drawings.
• Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and material specifications.
• Coordination with other infrastructure disciplines (roads and electrical).



Deliverables:
• AutoCAD drawings (plan & profile) in PDF and DWG formats.
• Calculation report (hydraulic design and design basis).
• BOQ and material specification sheet.
• Short methodology note summarizing design assumptions and parameters.



Preferred Qualifications:
• Proven experience in water, sewer, and stormwater network design.
• Familiarity with HIB standards (Libya) or similar Gulf design standards.
• Proficiency in recognized hydraulic modeling software (e.g., WaterCAD, waterGEMS, SewerCAD, EPANET).
