DMRB-Compliant Roadway Design
Budget: £250 – £750 GBP
I'm seeking an experienced traffic designer with UK experience to create a roadway design of approximately 5 individual designs in AutoCAD (General arrangement, Site Clearance, Setting Out - per location) This will need to align with DMRB standards as well as MfS2.
We have the preliminary designs to work off. Just require more detailed designs, ready for construction
The design should prioritise pedestrian safety within 'local street improvements' , these include:
- Off street parking
- Dropped crossing with tactile paving
- Continuous footway designs, across side roads
- Pedestrian refuge island on a crossing of an arm on a roundabout
- Kerb build outs
- All works will be done on a Topographical survey
Ideal candidates should have:
- Proficiency in AutoCAD
- In-depth knowledge of DMRB guidelines
- Good understanding of UK design standards for local London authorities
- Strong background in roadway design
- Experience with pedestrian safety features
