Bridge FEA Simulation in ANSYS

Job ID: 39756075

Budget: £1,500 – £3,000 GBP

I need a complete finite-element study on a bridge design performed in ANSYS. The goal is to understand how the structure behaves under realistic loading so I can move forward with final sizing and detailing.

You will set up the model, apply appropriate boundary conditions and load cases, and run a full structural analysis. From the results I expect clear insight into stress, strain, displacement and, importantly, long-term fatigue behaviour. Please include a safety-factor assessment and any optimisation ideas you spot during the work.

Deliverables
• Original ANSYS project files (geometry, mesh, setup, results)
• Key result screenshots illustrating critical regions
• A concise, well-structured report that walks me through your methodology, assumptions, findings, fatigue/lifetime prediction, safety factor calculations, and recommended design tweaks

Your background in mechanical, civil, aerospace, or materials engineering and solid command of ANSYS will be essential. Clarity in the report is just as important as technical accuracy—write it so that design, management, and fabrication teams can all act on the conclusions.
