Bill of quantity

We are seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to manually measure and take off building quantities for a simple domestic construction project. The chosen candidate will be responsible for preparing a bill page as part of the Bills of Quantities (BOQ) in accordance with the standard method of measurement.

Key Responsibilities:

Analyze and answer all questions related to the WAREHOUSE drawing and specification notes.
Use the provided WAREHOUSE project drawings and specifications to measure quantities.
Prepare and submit the following items using a DIM sheet with quantity booking, description, side cast, and squaring:
Trench excavation
Concrete footing
Ensure adherence to all standard procedures used in manual measurement of work using ASMM.
Complete the T.O. list concisely and clearly.
Perform taking off, description, side caste (waste calculations), and squaring for all the listed items, including necessary calculations.
Prepare the Bill Page using the measured quantities and description.
Scan or take clear photos of all sides of the DIM sheet and Bill Page.
Procedure:

Use the provided DIM sheet and Bill Page.
Print the DIM sheet (both front and back sides on one A4 paper) and the Bill Page on an A4-sized paper.
Follow the key responsibilities listed above.
Submit clear scans or photos of all the sides of the DIM sheet and Bill Page.
Requirements:

Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor.
Familiarity with ASMM and standard methods of measurement.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications.
Excellent communication skills.
