Australian certified structural engineer for tiny house
Budget: $250 – $750 AUD
You will be asked to answer the following questions when submitting a proposal:
- Are you accredited in Australia?
- Did you have a look at the plans? What is your feedback?
- The council also asked this question. Is this something you can comment on? 5. Can you please clarify the location of the proposed effluent disposal system?
We have a tiny house plan and would like to have the structural engineering done in order to get a building surveyor to certify the plans and hence get the building permit.
I have attached the plans we have. The company who will do the shell and the frame it will sit on will provide us the technical details but to explain. The tiny house will be moved on wheels to the site hence will comply with traffic regulation. On site the house will be set on the steel legs and placed into concrete foundations or whatever is needed. Ideally it could, at a alter stage, easily be moved but again whatever is needed.
Below some details that might be important:
Pile or possible concrete pier foundations
Steel frame stud walls
Steel or timber joists supporting floorboards to ground and upper floors
it will not be placed in a bushfire zone
The shire this will be placed in is the Shire of Donnybrook
