Arizona Scour Apron Design
Budget: $1,500 – $3,000 USD
I’m finalising the permit set for a new single-family build in Cottonwood, Yavapai County, and the last item the county reviewer needs is a stamped scour-armoring apron design. The apron’s sole purpose is erosion control around the footing line, and I would like it detailed as a deployable riprap system that can be buried until needed. If types other than natural stone is more cost effective, that is OK since it will be buried and not be visible anyways.
I already have a full data package ready for you: the site plan, topological & boundary survey, geotechnical report, completed scour analysis, and even a septic percolation test (the latter is just for reference). With these in hand I need a licensed Arizona civil or structural PE to turn the information into permit-ready documents.
Deliverables (all stamped and sized to county submission standards):
• Plan and section sheets showing layout, grading ties, and stone sizing
• Design calculations addressing anticipated flow velocities (given in scour report)
• Material specifications and brief installation guidance
Please confirm your Arizona registration number when you respond. Timing is critical—once I upload your sealed package, the permit can be released—so let me know your earliest completion window.
