Total Experience: 8+ years, Relevant Experience: 7+yrs in
Wireless Networks (Cisco), Qualification: CCNP/CCIE or EquivalentTechnologies –
CCNP, CCIE with extensive knowledge of:
Enterprise class routers (Cisco ASR 9K, GSR, CRS-1)
Cisco IOS software including exposure to IOS XR
MPLS -roles of P, PE, CE, VRFs, etc.
Routing Protocols BGP, OSPF, and ISIS
Other technologies -NAT, Multicast, QoS,
Basic Optical Technologies: DWDM, PoS, Ethernet
10+ years of experience in IT with emphasis in Infrastructure.
5+ years of experience with large scale and complex projects
5+ years of extensive network design or operational experience within a large enterprise environment required.
Working in TAC experience is an added advantage.
Tier 4 support is Engineering Subject Matter Expert (SME) engagement level
Tier 3 support is Operations Engineer engagement level
Tier 2 support is NOC Engineer engagement level
Tier 1 support is Global Service Desk/Help Desk
Key Skills Required:
Excellent English communication and conversation skills (Verbal and Written)
Good documentation skills & Email responses – should be able to document / update work notes in the ticketing tool
Should have an excellent customer handling skill – as the candidate will be dealing with Upper Management
7+ years’ experience in engineering data center and IP backbone in a multi -vendor multiprotocol
environment;
7+ years’ experience architecting networks based on T1, DS3, Fiber/Optical , DSL, Ethernet, ATM, Frame Relay, and Ethernet over Copper core, distribution, and access media;
7+ years’ experience integrating and managing DNS (internal & external), email and other hosted platforms;
7+ years’ experience designing networks for a VoIP Soft Switch-based CLEC or ILEC with an integrated voice and data network;
Expert level experience with IP administration and management – also have awareness of the latest technology trends in Networks (Video, Data Circuits)
Expert level experience with Cisco Switches and Routers (experience with Juniper platform acceptable);
Cisco – CCUM (Cisco call Manager), SIP, DID Lines, Knowledge on clear pass server would be added advantage.
Video- Knowledge on Polycom video device
CCNA Voice, CCNP Enterprise (Essential), CCIE Enterprise (Would be added advantage)
Expert level experience with designing with and managing protocols such as OSPF, BGP, ISIS, RIP,MPLS, LDP,
Experience with Zhone, Occam (Calix), Hatteras, Adtran, and Actelis (1.) Incident Management +
Change Management (Planning & Execution)
On - call Escalation
Should have experience with Service Now or other ticketing tools to ensure Ticket Quality & ITIL Process adherence
