On-Site Cisco Rack & Stack

Job ID: 40130305

Budget: ₹100 – ₹400 INR

I have an upcoming one-day engagement at a client facility where every minute of access counts. The assignment is straightforward: physically rack and stack Cisco routers, switches, and a server set, then hand over clean console access so my remote engineering team can push configurations that require a few non-default settings.

The exact date and time are still being confirmed, but the work will take place in one of these locations: China, Malaysia, Indonesia, or Japan (final site details provided once we lock in logistics).

Success on the day means:
• each device is mounted, cabled, labeled, powered, and visible in the rack according to the layout provided on arrival;
• my remote team can reach every console port through the laptop you bring, with the agreed serial settings already saved in PuTTY;
• a quick video or photo confirmation of the completed rack before you leave site.

Please arrive with the following on hand:
• Windows laptop (English language) with MS Teams, Webex, PuTTY, FTP utility, AnyDesk or TeamViewer installed and tested;
• console cable plus any USB adapters with updated drivers;
• standard and Phillips screwdrivers sized for Cisco rails;
• mobile phone with strong data signal and power-bank;
• label printer for final asset tags;
• wireless earphones to keep both hands free while you talk to my remote engineers.

If this is squarely in your wheelhouse and you can cover one or more of the countries listed, let’s coordinate schedules and site access.
