SYSTEM ENGINEER
Responsibilities and attitude
Identify and understand internal and customer needs, promote and/or design technical
and operational solutions adapted to these needs.
Support MT on-boarding initiatives by providing technical analysis and coordination.
between customers and internal stakeholders to promote win-win solutions (Pre-sales

Install, configure and test network devices in new and existing facilities on MT.
and customer’s networks (System Integrator attitude).
Become subject matter expert (SME) and establish working relationships with cross-
functional teams throughout the company (Project Manager attitude).
Support the technical relationship with the customer for the life cycle of the service
including supporting internal stakeholders during times of technical/operational
difficulties (Product Manager attitude).
Ability to quickly learn the current technology deployment with motivation to learn new
and evolving technology. Develop, configure and deploy new systems and applications.
continue to evaluate new technological opportunities that may support future MT
products and services (Pioneer attitude).
Understand documentation and procedures for configuration and troubleshooting to
fulfill for the implementation of product, system and services.
Adhere to internal documentation standards by creating, updating and maintaining
services/systems drawings, design documents, presentations and other reference
materials.
Experience/Skills/Abilities
Excellent presentation skills, positive, customer service attitude (MANDATORY).
Highly motivated with the ability to operate also without direct supervision (MANDATORY).
Open minded, proactive, a team player with a “can do” attitude (MANDATORY).
Sense of urgency, initiative and competitive drive to get things done (MANDATORY).
Cisco certifications: CCNA or equivalent knowledge (MANDATORY).
Additional certifications in Networking sector are a plus.
Knowledge of TCP/IP, Layer2 and Layer3 devices and general network theory,
Understating of Routing and Switching protocols, and of complex transport system
hardware and software architectures, Configuring, implementing, and supporting
Networking Monitoring and Troubleshooting Tools (MANDATORY);.
Knowledge of SD/WAN vendors.
Knowledge of virtualization technologies such ESXi.
Knowledge of windows and linux servers to be able to manage them.
Experience in Networking projects related to Campus and Data Center area.
Good written and oral communication skills in English required.
Must be able and willing to travel domestically and internationally.
Availability to work outside normal business hours when the need arises (MANDATORY).
