Budget: $10 – $30 USD
The main task in this assessment is to design a prototype of wireless LAN using Packet Tracer for Renown
Health Upgraded Network with Cisco devices, considering the information provided in the case study about
the challenges, solutions, and results. To achieve that, the student needs to complete and include in the
report the following three requirements:
1. Analyses of the requirements i.e., network hardware/software and QoS to make sure the
following criteria is met:
a) Confidentiality
b) Integrity
c) Availability
d) Authentication
e) Authorization
All the above-mentioned criteria must be briefly discussed in the report highlighting the reasons of using
any required hardware or software.
2. Design the network architecture of the wireless network based on the requirements considered in
the previous part, make sure the following minimum criteria is met:
a) At least 3 Vlans need to be configured
b) At least 10 wireless devices must be included and configured
c) WLC should be included in your design
d) Specify the networking architecture used and justify the reason of using it
e) Include the required security measures in your design, hardware, or software
f) Include in the report your design, testing procedures and results, and prove of successful
connectivity between users and the associated security
g) Identify and discuss networking protocols that are used by network devices such as switches, WLC
and routers
h) Include some IoT devices in your design is recommended
3. Discuss and analyse the security issues and the countermeasures that you have
designed/recommended to provide best level of security to the network

Note: each student will prepare 10 minutes recorded video that includes a presentation and demonstration of
the assessment. The recorded video must be submitted with your assignment report in week 11. The link of
the recorded video must be included on the report cover page.
