Network Simulation & Cyberattack Lab
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I'm looking for an expert to help create a detailed Cisco Packet Tracer simulation for lab work.
Context:
You are the information security team at a large company. Recently, the company's network has been subjected to several network attacks: users complain about unstable FTP, suspicious redirects to third-party sites, and interruptions in Internet connectivity.
Your task is to simulate real network attacks, implement a network with vulnerabilities, and then implement security measures using Cisco Packet Tracer.
Project Objective:
● To simulate a corporate network.
● Demonstrate common network attacks.
● Implement effective defense mechanisms.
Steps to complete:
1. Building a network
Construct an enterprise network that includes:
● 1 router (or L3 switch)
● 2-3 layers of switches (core/distribution/access)
● VLANs by department: HR, IT, Finance, Guest
● DHCP, DNS, FTP, Syslog and NTP servers
● Client PCs
● Attacker PCs (in the same VLAN as the victims)
Requirements:
- Simulate a network for cyberattack practice.
- Network development and configuration.
- Simulate specific cyberattacks:
- ARP Spoofing
- DHCP Starvation
- VLAN Hopping
- DoS Attacks
- DNS Spoofing
Ideal Skills and Experience:
- Proficient in Cisco Packet Tracer
- Strong understanding of network configurations
- Experience with various cyberattack simulations
- Networking and cybersecurity expertise
Please provide a portfolio or examples of similar work done.
