Triangle Farms is a cooperative that grows vegetables and has two greenhouse locations within 10 km of each other on the outskirts of Nairobi. It wants to install a wireless network in both locations but also wants to interconnect the two facilities. The local telephone company has proposed to install a dedicated digital line to link Triangle’s two locations and has argued that wireless links are not reliable and that they will end up costing more than the $1,500 per month that the dedicated line will cost.
