We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Meraki Network Technician to join our team for a short-term project. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing, maintaining, and troubleshooting a Meraki network for a medium-sized organization.
Responsibilities:
Install, configure, and maintain Meraki networking equipment, including switches, routers, and wireless access points.
Monitor network performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
Configure VLANs, firewalls, and other network security measures.
Create and maintain network documentation, including diagrams and configuration files.
Collaborate with other IT staff to ensure that the network meets the organization's needs and aligns with their overall IT strategy.
Requirements:
Extensive experience with Meraki networking equipment and technologies.
Strong understanding of networking protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.
Ability to configure and maintain VLANs, firewalls, and other network security measures.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex network issues.
Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
