GNS3 SNMP manager /Ping Poller/Base line

Activities
Program an application that can monitor the next points of the devices in the network: (Virtual
machine and router)
o Memory
o Processor
o Storage (Only the VM)
o Bandwidth (Interface)
Functional requirements
 Has to monitor the devices every minute
 Keep the information of the monitoring in a data base or text file.
 Using the points previously mentioned select a limit for each one (10% of the RAM memory
available), and every time the limit get pass should send an email to the network manager
with the next information:
 Date and time of the incident
 Device where the incident occurred
 The fail that happened
 If any of the devices has a delay on the response time, a notification has to be send to the
network manager with the information of the device that had the delay the date and time of
the incident

Non functional requirements
 Any operative system and programming language can be used
 The application has to aloud the user to change the limits on the memory processor storage
and bandwidth
