25U Floor Network Cabinet Installation
Budget: $250 – $750 CAD
I have a 24U floor-standing network cabinet that needs to be installed in an office suite a few minutes from Boston Logan Airport. The cabinet will hold a stack of networking switches along with several patch panels, so stability, grounding, and clean cable management are critical.
Here’s what I need from you:
• Unbox, assemble, and anchor the 24U floor cabinet securely on the designated spot.
• Mount and secure the switches and patch panels (all hardware is on-site).
• Dress, bundle, and label the copper patch leads to maintain clear airflow and a professional finish.
• Verify grounding and test basic connectivity once everything is in place.
• Leave the area tidy and haul away packing material.
Acceptance criteria: the cabinet must sit level, doors close without obstruction, all equipment is firmly racked, cables follow straight vertical/horizontal runs, and link lights confirm connectivity.
All standard hand tools, a punch-down tool, and a cable tester will be required; please bring your own. The loading dock is available, and I’ll provide building access and parking instructions.
