Step 1 – Physical Layer
1. Build and configure the network as shown in the diagram
Step 2 – PARIS
1. Configure the router with the Hostname, passwords and message of the day banner.
2. Using the addresses shown in the table, configure the router interfaces.
3. Configure the Ethernet port & set the PC1 IP address to receive an address via DHCP.
4. Use DHCP on the router to provide an IP address for the PC (configure a pool for the g0/0 LAN (172.16.0.0/24) and exclude the first 5 addresses).
5. Record the IP address obtained by PC1 in the addressing table for the PARIS network.
6. Configure the Serial port (s0/0/0)
7. Configure OSPF as the Routing Protocol (use a process ID of 1) for the 2 connected networks.
8. Use ping to test connectivity to the PC
9. Record the contents of the Routing Table below
