Comprehensive Router VPN Setup
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I'm seeking an experienced network technician to help set up a router that will support a VPN. I am moving to Shanghai May 28th and require a router that I can modify with my MacBook Pro and have the software already pre-loaded before getting to the Great Firewall of China. Was looking into Merlin and Astrill through an Asus router but maybe something is better? I just wanna be able to game/use Netflix on my TV and have the VPN integrated into my Wifi. I will buy whichever router you think I should buy, I'm located in FL.
Specific needs are:
1. A router that supports VPN since I currently don't have one
2. The router should support for multiple VPN protocols
3. Advanced VPN configuration abilities
4. I'd prefer if the router has inbuilt VPN services.
This setup will be for a small-scale use, planning to connect 1-5 devices through the VPN.
Knowledgeable individuals in network setup, VPN configuration and router usability are most suitable for this project. Past experience and proven success in similar projects will be favored.
